Marcus A. Hartman is the Manager of Aviation Operations in the Advanced Technology Initiatives for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He is a commercially rated multiengine pilot with a long background in uncrewed aircraft systems and operations. Mr. Hartman has taught many courses on uncrewed aircraft systems with a multitude of public stakeholder groups and operations and manages the day-to-day operations for the Emerging Aviation Technology Center.
Mr. Hartman is a life-long R/C hobbyist designing, building, and flying both fixed wing and rotor wing uncrewed aircraft systems.
Mr. Hartman was the Unmanned Aircraft Operation Coordinator at Oklahoma State University in the Unmanned Systems Research Institute prior to working for the Choctaw Nation.
Mr. Hartman graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Administration and Operations.
